fit4sec-Workshop: Cybersecurity preparedness - cyber range, simulation and economics

The constantly evolving landscape of cyber threats, vulnerabilities and attacks require organizations and cybersecurity professionals to be in a continuous learning process to implement innovative security measures and forecast new threats in order to enable cybersecurity, personal data protection and digital privacy in the EU Digital Single Market.

In this fit4sec workshop we want to bring together renowned experts from industry, academia, civil society and public bodies to address the specific challenges and opportunities in the field of cybersecurity skills. It does so in conjunction with the open call „Cybersecurity preparedness - cyber range, simulation and economics” (SU-DS01-2018) of the Horizon 2020 program on “secure societies”. Each session assembles multiple perspectives to jointly identify key challenges, pressing knowledge gaps and best practices in this field. The final session synthesizes the results of the debates and aims to sketch the basic contours of a possible project consortium that would meet the EU funding criteria (specific impact focus).
