The digital #CODE2020 is over, with almost 600 participants from all over Europe. On 10.11.2020, #CODE2020 was launched with the theme "European Digital Sovereignty: Road to Success?”.
An exciting day with great discussions with the German Minister of Defence Mrs. Kramp-Karrenbauer, the Minister of Defence of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Mrs. Bijleveld-Schouten, State Secretary Zimmer, Lieutenant General Vetter, Ambassador Ischinger and several other high-ranking participants. On the second day there were 7 workshops on topics such as "5G Cyber Security in the EU", "Cyber-Resilience of Critical Infrastructures", "Quantum Technology" and "Cyber Security from a Political Perspective" with more than 100 participants in some cases. At the afternoon an innovation conference with 12 innovative proposals selected by a jury were presented and three winners were chosen. Finally, the scientific track on the third day, dedicated to the PhD students, concluded the three-day conference. The discussions focused on the roadmap for European digital sovereignty, overcoming capacity fragmentation by building digital ecosystems, as we do in the CONCORDIA project.

A big thank you to all speakers, panelists, presenters, workshop organisers, participants and exhibitors!
Next year the conference will take place on 20-22 July 2021.
